Using Your HSA/FSA is Simple
Paying with HSA/FSA looks a little different depending on how you buy — here's how each option works.
One-Time Purchases
1. Checkout
Once you’ve added in your Purity Products to your cart, select the Truemed logo during checkout. Make sure you checkout as a guest (not with Express Pay or Shop Pay).
2. Complete the Health Survey
Take a brief health survey to determine your eligibility. Upon completion, a licensed provider will review to see if your order qualifies for HSA/FSA. If approved, you will receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) via email within 48 hours
3. Complete Your Purchase
Enter your HSA/FSA card details. If you use a regular credit card, follow the guide accompanied with your LMN to submit a reimbursement.
Subscriptions
1. Checkout
Shop and check out as usual — no need to select HSA/FSA at checkout. Once your order is placed, click the Truemed reimbursement link immediately after purchase or find it anytime in your order confirmation email.
2. Complete the Health Survey
Take a brief health survey to determine your eligibility. Upon completion, a licensed provider will review to see if your order qualifies for HSA/FSA. If approved, you will receive a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) via email within 48 hours.Note: The survey must be taken on the same day as your purchase.
3. Submit for HSA/FSA Reimbursement
Follow the steps included with your LMN to file for a reimbursement. Expect a claim to be paid out in 2-4 weeks.

How long does it take to receive my Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)?
Generally it takes 2-5 hours. In some cases, Truemed’s provider team will require additional time to issue a letter of medical necessity based on the needs associated with an individual qualification survey. If you aren’t seeing your letter in your inbox, check spam, then reach to Truemed a tsupport@truemed.com.
When should I use my HSA/FSA dollars?
You can use your HSA/FSA dollars all year long. However, FSA dollars expire at the end of the year and unused money may not rollover into the next year. Make sure to spend the rest of your FSA dollars before December 31st — use it, so you don’t lose it!
I don't have an HSA or FSA. Can I still use Truemed?
Truemed's services are built for customers with an active HSA or FSA account. If you don't currently have one, ask your employer about your options — you may be able to enroll during your next open enrollment period and start saving immediately.
