The Original Water Pure System Filter Cartridge

This advanced PB1 cartridge only fits the original Water Pure system (which has ridges on its exterior). Matrikx Pb1 extruded activated carbon filters reduce soluble lead and destroys chlorine chemicals and cryptosporidium up to 99%. One micron extruded is ideal for municipal tap water. This is the original filter that comes with Water Pure System Unit. Filter life for unit is 1250 gallons or 1 year whichever comes first. Purity recommends that you change your filter annually.

The difference in the taste of my tap water is not to be believed. It's so delicious and clean. I change the filters about every 9 months and the amount of particles in the filter makes me glad I have it.

This is a excellent filter for city water, I purchased the original water pure filter in 1998 and a water filter salesman came to my door to sell me the best filter ever, I told him I already had one. He asked if he could check it, and it tested a zero. He said I had the best he ever tested. I gave him the information needed so he could get one. Only have to change once a year,and if it is just 2 of you you can go even longer. Purity Products quit selling the canister but you can buy one on Ebay. Great Product!!

You can always fill a cup of filtered water from your fridge, IF it has that feature. And IF your electrical power is on. But if you want to fill more than a cup, and faster, and even during a power outage, then you NEED some water filtering system near your sink. I am very happy with mine, and that's precisely why I reorder a PB1 cartridge replacement every year. Clean air and water - that's the first priority, is it not? :)
