A purchased sample of Purity Products Perfect Multi Veggie caps, Lot # 5334308 was tested by ConsumerLab.com in multiple laboratories, each finding no more than 50 percent of the amount of folic acid claimed on the label. Our manufacturer tested a retained sample of the same lot and found that it met its label claim for folic acid. Another sample of the same lot was sent by our manufacturer to an independent analytical testing laboratory, which also found it contained its label claim for folic acid.

To help resolve the discrepancy, Purity Products and ConsumerLab.com agreed to have a sample of the product purchased by ConsumerLab.com re-tested at another independent lab, which found 23.9% of the label claim for folic acid.

All lots of Perfect Multi veggie caps are tested at the time of manufacture to ensure they contain full label claim amount of folic acid. Our manufacturer has conducted further analytical lab tests on retained samples of the original lot tested by Consumerlab. These tests showed the lot meets label claim for folic acid. Additionally, Purity Products has sent samples for independent lab testing of two other lots: one bottle from our warehouse and another bottle that was shipped across the country in August. Both bottles exceed the label claim for folic acid.
